Shipping, Installation & Returns
When you place an order with PoolTableMD, you're agreeing to the terms below, including any related fees and conditions. Once your order is submitted, these terms apply and cannot be altered retroactively. Every order, claim, return, credit, or exception is reviewed and decided at PoolTableMD's sole discretion, within the bounds of applicable law.
Freight Delivery & White-Glove Service
Pool tables and other large game room pieces ship via professional white-glove freight and require expert installation. This service is included only when it's specifically stated in writing on the product listing or your order confirmation. PoolTableMD arranges delivery through independent logistics partners and licensed installation crews, and scheduling depends on your availability along with site access and readiness. A responsible adult needs to be on hand at delivery to check over the shipment and sign for it. Inspect everything as it arrives: note any visible damage directly on the delivery receipt and take photos. If nothing looks damaged on the outside, write "possible concealed damage" before signing anyway - signing without any notation means you're accepting the shipment as-is, which can limit or block a future damage claim.
Access, Logistics & Installation Charges
Every delivery is evaluated for site-specific conditions, and extra fees can apply depending on how difficult access or installation turns out to be. Examples include staircases, long carry distances, narrow entryways, elevators, cranes or lifts, deliveries to rural areas, restricted-access sites, rescheduled appointments, storage needs, or any added labor or equipment needed to finish the job. You're responsible for covering these access and logistics costs no matter when they come up - before, during, or after delivery. If PoolTableMD is billed extra by a carrier, installer, or logistics partner, that cost is passed on to you and due immediately; it isn't refundable, even if the order is later returned, canceled, or refused.
Installation & Service Fees
Installers are independent contractors, not PoolTableMD employees, so PoolTableMD isn't liable for site-specific issues or surprises that come up during setup. Once installation, service, or logistics work has been performed, those fees are final and non-refundable.
Returns
Returns need written approval in advance, and PoolTableMD can approve or deny any request at its own discretion, for any reason. If a return is approved, a 15% restocking fee applies along with the full cost of freight both ways - this holds true even if your original order qualified for free shipping. You're also on the hook for any installation, access, service, or logistics charges already incurred, and none of those are refundable. To qualify for a refund, the item must come back unused, in its original packaging, with everything included, and it will be inspected before PoolTableMD determines refund eligibility. Once a table has been installed or installation has begun, it can no longer be returned - that sale is final.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests are subject to approval at PoolTableMD's discretion. If you cancel before the order ships, non-refundable processing fees (like credit card and transaction charges) still apply and will be subtracted from your refund, since those fees go to third-party payment processors and can't be recovered by PoolTableMD. If your order has already moved into processing, routing, production, or fulfillment, additional charges - such as restocking fees, freight costs, or other expenses already incurred - may apply.
Refused Deliveries
If you refuse a shipment for a reason other than confirmed damage, it's handled as an unauthorized return, meaning restocking fees, freight charges both directions, storage costs, and any other related expenses will apply.
Refunds
Approved refunds are only processed after the returned item has been received and inspected by PoolTableMD. PoolTableMD has the final say on whether a refund is owed and how much, with all applicable fees subtracted from the total before it's issued.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, please reach out to PoolTableMD directly so we can try to resolve the issue. PoolTableMD reserves the right to contest any chargeback and submit documentation to support its case.
